I think I speak for both of us when I say Daphne and I have had our fill of doctor visits. Yesterday I had to take her to get three big viles of blood taken from her little tiny body for a food allergy panel. We know for certain she has a peanut allergy and a strawberry allergy, but we are just making sure that's it.
Today (currently) we are waiting at her pediatrician's for her 15 month check up... Which also comes with a shot. I've had her on a delayed vax schedule, so today she has to get one. Boo. I hate them much more than she does. It breaks my heart... Everytime.
You know what else I'm not a fan of? Sitting in the disease riddled pediatircians office for an hour and a half before the nurse practitioner (yah, not even the doctor) gets into see you. What's with that? Here I am trying to keep my presently healthy child from contracting some kind is virus that happens to be swimming in this sea of contagion, and they can't even speed things along just a tad?
So it's settled. I'm going to take my baby and my grumpy attitude to the cupcake bakery after this.
Have a great weekend friends: )
